The T6455 module packs step-up boosting and lithium battery charge/discharge protection onto a single board with a familiar Micro USB connector, making it a budget-friendly core for any DIY power bank build. Feed it a 3.7V lithium cell and it delivers a regulated 5V output at up to 1A, enough to charge phones and small USB devices directly.
Like its higher-end counterparts, the T6455 integrates both charging management and discharging management in one package, complete with internally installed power MOSFETs that handle switching without external components. A preset 4.2V charging voltage (±1% precision) and a 2.9V discharge cutoff protect the connected battery from over-charging or over-discharging, while onboard LEDs give a clear visual readout of the current charging/discharging state.
