LEDs are very useful in projects when you want to display some info to the user and also for confirming the states of your device like if it is working fine or if there is some error which might be affecting the working of your project. For DIY projects we might use 5mm LEDs with long legs which might not be most luminous LEDs out there but if you want an efficient and high intensity output LED then this 1-Watt Power LED is the solution for you. It is an Industrial grade LED which provides better luminous output to the 5mm LED legs and much more efficient. You can use multiple LEDs to form a replacement light source for an incandescent lamp. This is lead free RoHS compliant and very suitable for PWM operated sources and have superior ESD protection. It can be easily mounted on a PCB and even on a Perf-board. Its operating Voltage Range is 3V to 3.5V which we can easily get with both Arduino and Raspberry Pi and other development boards also.
