The 2 Channel 5V Relay Module With Optocoupler Protection lets a microcontroller safely switch high-power AC or DC loads without risking damage to its own circuitry. The optocoupler isolates the control side from the relay side electrically, so a fault on the load being switched cannot feed back and harm your Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other controller.
Each channel drives a high-current relay rated for 10A at 250VAC, controlled by an active-low input that switches on when the signal falls below 2V and off above it – a jumper allows the mode to be changed to active-high if your project needs it. Each channel needs only 15 to 20mA of driver current and works reliably with both 3.3V and 5V logic levels.
